PROJECT: Tea & Tide, 2026

Tea & Tide is an immersive tea house inspired by the vibrant beauty of underwater gardens. The goal was to create a calming retail experience where brand identity, interior graphics, signage, and packaging work together to immerse guests in the intersection of marine botanicals and rare teas.

Drawing from kelp forests, tide pools, and coastal flora, Tea & Tide celebrates the ocean as a living botanical ecosystem. Seagrasses and coral reef colors become the visual language for a modern tea experience that feels calm, sophisticated, and restorative.

Tea & Tide is not a quick-service restaurant; it is a tea destination. As guests enter the space, they should feel as though they are moving from land to sea.

• The Shore: Entry space attended by a tea room host. Here, guests can view a collection of botanical illustrations while they wait to be seated.

• The Tide Room: Seating surrounded by layered botanical graphics and soft lighting that creates a tranquil atmosphere. Painted murals on the walls and ceiling create the illusion of being underwater.

The color palette reflects the layered ecosystem of coastal waters. Deep kelps establish stability, seafoam introduces freshness, while coral accents provide moments of warmth that guide attention throughout the environment.
